Once you connect your own SMTP account (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or any other provider), nudgt sends every invite and nudge through it on your behalf, on whatever schedule you set. You never touch a compose window, but every message still leaves from your inbox, under your domain — so your deliverability and sender reputation stay 100% yours, never pooled with other nudgt customers.

Every invitee gets a real calendar invite, not just an email, personalized automatically, followed by up to five reminders on their own lead time across email and SMS. where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

In an encrypted, access-controlled database behind the same authentication that protects your account. SMTP credentials get an extra layer on top of that: they live in a dedicated secrets vault, isolated from the rest of your data and decrypted only in memory when a batch sends.

how long do you keep my data?

Only for as long as your account is active. We don’t keep an indefinite shadow copy of your invitee lists or send history on the off chance you come back — see the privacy policy for exact retention windows.

No — a background worker drains the queue in capped, per-provider slices instead of firing everything at once. Large lists just take a little longer to send; they never burst.

Yes. Edits re-issue the invite with a bumped ICS SEQUENCE, so every invitee’s existing calendar entry updates in place instead of creating a duplicate.

what about invitees who want to stop getting texts or emails?

Accepted Answer

Honoring that is on you, and the law requires it — under rules like the TCPA for SMS and CAN-SPAM for email, you're responsible for stopping messages to anyone who opts out. Since every send goes through your own SMTP and SMS provider accounts, opt-out handling runs through the same tools and settings you already use with those providers today.
